Me gustan estas estrellas de cristal. Yo tengo una muy viejita que rescaté de una casa que reformé hace ya tiempo, sus dueños se deshicieron de todos los muebles y objetos que había en ella. Me llamó la atención y la he guardado todo este tiempo sobre un baúl de madera, rescatado de la misma casa (ya os lo mostraré en otro post cuando me arme de valor para restaurarlo). Ahora ha llegado el momento de buscarle un sitio y una utilidad.
Os la presento.....
I like these crystal stars. I have one really old which I rescued from a house I refurbished long ago, and whose owners got rid of all the furniture inside. It caught my eye then, and I´ve kept it on top of a wooden trunk (which I will show when ready to have a secon life) also rescued from the same house.
And here it is....
La verdad es que no es la más bonita de las estrellas del universo (sobretodo por los toques de naranja), ¡pero es vintage!
Casi siempre veo este tipo de estrellas colgando a modo de lámpara.
The truth is, it is not the most beautiful star of the universe (specially due to the orange crystals), but it is vintage!
Almost always I see these stars as lamps hanging from the ceiling.

Pero la mía es muy pequeña para ponerla sola, quedaría ridícula, otra cosa sería si tuviera varias....
But I think mine is a bit small and wouldn´t look so good alone, if I had more...

...pero sólo tengo esta. La podría poner colgada de una esquina de alguna habitación sobre una mesa, a una altura más baja de lo normal, como agrupándolo todo.
Maybe I could hang it in a corner of a room, alone, hanging very close to the table making a big statement.
Aquí podéis ver su tamaño. También he pensado ponerla sobre una base cuadrada y hacer una lámpara de sobremesa.

Como veis es plana por un lado, así que está pensada para colgar de la pared. Es más, tiene dentro un soporte para velas y la trasera es un espejo para proyectar la luz de la vela, ¿qué tal en la pared?
One of its sides is flat, so it was meant to be hung on the wall. It even has a candle holder inside with a mirror to reflect the candle light. How about hanging it on the wall?
