Flowerbox

Ya os he comentado en varias ocasiones lo fan que soy yo de vestir la paredes, con parquet, papel, cuero, etc. Pues ahora he encontrado una forma más, ¡con plantas! He descubierto los murales y cuadros vegetales de Flowerbox  y me han parecido de lo más originales y frescos.
Estamos acostumbrados a ver las plantas pero esta forma de crear murales y cuadros me ha sorprendido y me ha encantado.

I have already told you how much I like dressing up walls, with wood, wallpaper, leather, etc. Now, I have found a new way, with plants! I´ve discovered the plant murals by Flowerbox and I love them! They are totally original and fresh. 
We are so used to seeing plants in decoration, but this way, with real plants covering the whole wall, has really surprised me.

Baños con Tratamiento de Salón

Para mí, los baños deben tener "Tratamiento de Salón", se acabó el "mobiliario bañil"

Ya en su momento os comenté que cualquier mueble vale para colocar bajo un lavabo (aquí), pues hoy le toca al resto del baño. 

En los baños TODO VALE. ¿No os habéis dado cuenta, que cualquier mueble, cuadro, baúl, silla, adorno, etc. que no encuentra su sitio en ningún lugar de la casa, SIEMPRE QUEDA PERFECTO EN EL BAÑO? Pues lo que quiero decir es que los baños hay que decorarlos de la misma forma que el resto de la casa y no limitarnos a colgar toalleros monos. 

Ya sé que con 40 m2 para baño, cualquiera haría un baño ideal (bueno cualquiera no, pero todas nosotras seguro que sí), pero yo no me quiero referir al espacio, que obviamente ayuda, sino al detalle. Así que aparte de pensar que lo baños que os muestro no son "reales", busca la inspiración para el tuyo. Ya verás que hay cuadros, cortinas, esculturas, lámparas, sillas, alfombras, mesas, chimeneas.....

Y aunque ninguna de nosotras tengamos un baño así, como dice Mac, "hay que educar el gusto"

To me, we should give bathrooms the "living-room treatment", that is decorating them as if they were any other place of the home. A few posts ago I showed how any piece of furniture was perfect for a vanity (here) and now is the rest of the bathroom´s turn.
Haven´t you ever notice that any chair, picture, frame, sconce, table.... that does not find its place in the house, LOOKS ALWAYS PERFECT IN THE BATHROOM? Yes!! everything goes with bathrooms!
And I know, that with 40 m2, anyone could create a beautiful bathroom (well, not everyone, but all of us would), but I´m not talking about space, but about details in that space. In the pictures below you will find carpets, drapes, tables, fireplaces, lamps, etc. inside bathrooms, so instead of thiking these are not "real" bathrooms, I hope you find the inspiration in them to work on yours. We must educate our taste as well.

Y esto ya me pareció mucho, porque una cosa es adornar el baño y otra es trabajar en el baño!!!
This one just went too far, becuase one thing is to treat it as a living-room and the other is to have your office inside!

Este es el otro apartamento, que aunque casi igual que el de ayer, tiene algún detalle diferente en el baño, y la cocina no tiene isla.
This other apartament is almost similar to the other one, except for a couple of details in the bathroom, and the kitchen without island and in different color.

La puerta de entrada se aprovechó y en lugar de poner una puerta nueva, se forró el interior con una chapilla de DM lacado en blanco y con el mismo dibujo de las puertas. Se cambiaron las manivelas, la cerradura, y se pusieron tapajuntas nuevos del mismo color. El resultado es una puerta de apariencia "nueva" pero casi sin coste.
We kept the old door, but we covered it with a DMF board laquered as the rest of the doors in the house. We changed the handles and the lock and got a "new" door at very low cost.

Este es el revestimiento que se utilizó en los baños, y se utilizó también como pavimento en gris.
This is the ceramic used in bathrooms. 

Aunque las manillas se vean negras son de acero inoxidable que se aprecia muy mal en la foto
