Bueno, aquí ya os podemos mostrar el stand que Macarena y yo montamos en Expoinfancia. Para esta feria, queríamos llevar algo que se alejara un poco de la decoración infantil tradicional: cenefas, rosa y celeste, muñecos, pegatinas Disney.....(¡todo eso que nos espanta!!) Y he aquí el resultado, una habitación infantil diferente; con un árbol perchero, una cama colgante, pizarra, unas jaulas con pajaritos, un columpio, una valla, una casita, unos peces de madera y muchas cocinitas para jugar.
La verdad es que nos hemos quedado muy contentas con el feedback del público y los profesionales del sector, así que sin duda, repetiremos.
Espero que os guste y sobretodo que os sirva de inspiración para vuestros peques, porque lo que tiene esta decoración es que es fácil de hacer y muy asequible.
Well, we can now show the stand Macarena and I showcased at the Expoinfacia Fair. We wanted to show something different from what we are used to seeing in children´s rooms: pink and light blue, puppets, stickers, Disney stuff (all of it which we hate!). And here is the result! An original children´s room with a wooden tree hanger, a hanging bed, blackboard walls, bird cases with birdies, a fence, a swing, a little house, wooden fish and lots of Macarena´s small kitchens to play with.
We are very happy with the feedback received from the public and professionals. I hope you like it too, and find it inspirational for your own children´s spaces, because not only is this decoration beautiful, but it is easy to do and very affordable.
El stand inicial que ideamos, tenía un mapamundi del tamaño de dos módulos de una de las paredes, pero cuando lo vinieron a colocar resultó que los océanos eran VIOLETAS. Aunque en la foto no se aprecia muy bien, era un color que mataba totalmente la idea infantil del stand, y lo convertía en una decoración más juvenil. Así que lo terminamos quitando (aunque la ideas nos gustaba mucho) e ideando en un momentito ¡la casita!, que terminó siendo un éxito.
La casita tiene mil y una finalidades, como escenario de títeres, como cabecero, como decoración, como casa de muñecas....¡seguro que se te ocurre alguna más!
And the scoop behind the scenes.....
The initiall design of our stand had a world map in one of the walls, but when the installations began, we noticed the oceans were VIOLET .Even though it may not be noticed in the pictures very well, the colour didn´t go with the rest of the stand at all. It gave it a more adolescent look to the room, so we ended up taking it off (although the idea of a wall map is very cool). We created a little house instead, that ended up being the star of the stand.
This little house has a million applications, as a puppet theatre, as a headboard, as a doll´s house....You´ll probably find one more!
Gracias Macarena, tus cocinas son el mejor aderezo de cualquier espacio infantil, y sin tu organización, tu cabeza y tus manitas (que manejan la caladora y el taladro como nadie!) no sé lo que haría.
Thanks Macarena, your little kitchens are the best "atrezo" for any children´s room, and because without your organization, your brain and your two hands (that drive the fretsaw and the drill like no one does) I would be lost.
