Look playero

I hope to one day have a beach house to retreat to... Any time, any season. If it doesn't happen this side of heaven, I find solace in dreaming of my heavenly home... not a mansion on a street of gold, but rather a small cottage by the sea :)

The "beachy look" is fresh, unpretentious and restful.
To achieve this look we just need to combine all the color palette found around the coastline: the turquoise hues of the ocean, the golden tones of the sand, the greyish shades of the rocks, green of the palm trees and even in the colorful bottom sea of the caribbean.
We can start off with a neutral base like white and splash it with blue and turquoise. Stripes are a perfect complement for this look and a hammock always works well in it.

We should stay away from heavily varnished woods, the more natural the materials are the better to achieve the look. White whased woods provide a coastal atmosphere because they resemble all kinds of drift wood.
Materials like wicker, rope or stuf like shells, sand, palm tree leaves and all kinds of things collected by the sea are perfect to decorate a beachy space.
