Estoy trabajando en un proyecto para unos clientes que quieren hacer una casita de huéspedes en su jardín con algunos requisitos muy específicos. Después de escuchar sus necesidades, hablar del presupuesto y el tiempo de ejecución, que tiene que ser breve, ésta es mi propuesta. Os adelanto que les ha encantado la idea por su originalidad. Además, si se cambian de casa, que entra en sus planes, ¡SE LA LLEVAN!

I have recently had a request for designing and building a guest house in a clients´ garden. This project had very specific requirements so after meeting with my clients and decided on the budget and due date, which had to be soon, this is my proposal..... Let me tell you, they just loved the idea. They find it very original and fun. Plus, since there´s a chance they might move in the near future, THEY TAKE IT WITH THEM!

Hoy inauguro sección. Estaba revisando las carpetas de fotos para publicar una nueva entrada, y me he encontrado con varias, que no estaban en ninguna categoría pero que tienen algo en común: su originalidad. Así que, de cuando en cuando, incorporaré "ideas originales" para que nos sirvan de inspiración en algún proyecto, como la foto de arriba que combina dos tipos de barandilla de estilos y formas totalmete diferentes, pero que hacen que la escalera sea única.  En la foto de abajo, no me pude resistir a enseñar este espacio que a mis hijos les volvería locos, pero que no me atrevería a poner porque les conozco, pero seguro que encuentro algún cliente prudente al que ofrecérselo.

Today featuring a new section. I was going through all the picture folders for a new post, and I´ve come up with several photos, that were not stored in any particular category, although they all have something in common: they are ORIGINAL. Therefore, from time to time, I´ll be introducing "original ideas" to serve as inspiration for projects to come, like the picture above, showing a staircase with two very different banisters, which makes it totally unique. And in the picture below, I couldn´t help showing this risky space, which would drive my children crazy, but maybe I´ll find a client with quieter kids.
